This Chapter
This next chapter of life is full of transformation and growth–again! Retirement is the chapter I am talking about. This is not for the faint of heart!
I have gone through the passage of parents and terminally ill spouse, with the intense care-giving work that it entails. I have given up the 9 to 5 with it’s trials and thrills. I still see things positively, most of the time, and have not lost the easy, gentle humor that keeps me going. I am a person of strong faith and strive daily to live out that faith.
Professionally, my work life was diverse, most of my career was spent in the nonprofit sector. I also managed small businesses. My hard-won expertise is gladly shared with anyone who asks.
I started writing stories when I was thirteen. While life, school and work created large pauses for me, this chapter is the one for me to return to that first love of language and story.
